And last, if you're asking for general films not only animated films, Hsiao-Hsien Hou(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hou_Hsiao-Hsien) may be the most famous non-japanese eastern director and his films are definitely must-sees.

Deleted scenes from Korean animated feature Wonderful Days, animated by 윤영기(Yun YeongGi, some spell it as Yoon YoungKi). Cant find better quality on the web since it's deleted from the movie.
Forgive me if this sounds intrusive, but is she a female animator? I was looking for more movies that the animator worked on the imdb page and it said "Twin Sister of You Yoshinari" in the 'Trivia' section.

While the CG character animation was wonky at times, I thought they did a great job with the action scenes in this movie. The way they moved the camera and animated the mechs from pose to pose felt like 2D animation.
