This episode of New Game was storyboarded by Ryohei Takeshita, the director of Eromanga Sensei.

Also they're the same animator as the one who animated the New Game! scene.

I think that's still not quite set in stone. Kobayashi wasn't credited for that episode of New Game. I agree it does look like his work though.
