I really hope he's doing alright. Haven't seen a credit from Nik in a couple of years. He's one of my biggest inspirations.

Looks like he's still doing layout for The Simpsons, even won an Emmy Award in 2021. Not the most exciting job but I imagine it's one of the few places a traditional Disney-style animator in the US can get a stable job now (most american shows today don't even have a layout department).

Oh. Didn't know that. Don't really watch The Simpsons.

He actually drew every frame, because he didn't have a team of inbetweeners.
