i have a feeling that many other scenes in the episode have obvious 2d effects, i hope to see them on the booru.

It's now the Trigun Stampede Crotch Split slide
Eh. Once I accept, it's basically him keeping his hair as it was on childhood rather than the sticky hair from the OG, it's OK. Not like it's the most radical redesign in a remake. Looking at Gainax's Re: Cutie Honey. At least Vash is still the same character wise. Natsuko was completely changed there in terms of looks AND role and personality (Cutie Honey Universe is more faithful in several ways and yet, more disliked). Also, the very beloved Devilman Crybaby. Man, I like the show but I HATE the redesigns for Akira and Ryo Then there's the Cyborg 009 CG films. Long story short: This isn't the first time an anime remake wildly changes looks and/or personalities. You Trigun fanboys need to live with it . You'll live, like Cutie Honey fans, or Getter Robo fans or Cyborg 009 fans or Space Battleship Yamato fans or Devilman fans

this is not a website for complaining about the decisions made in an adaptation. maybe stick to twitter for that, or rather just not watch it.
I'm defending Stamepede by mentioning remakes that changed as much if not more from their respective sources, and are very loved (while also using CHU as an example of a more faithful adaptation that isn't liked by many). I was replying to a now deleted comment complaining about Stampede's Vash design and saying Vash looks like a Fortnite character now
I'm not complaining
