There needs to be some level of legislation that limits what it can be used for as well as ensure maximum transparency, but we're still really far away from that and it will take ages for legislative bodies to catch up to the people using it. It also just sucks from an artistic p.o.v. I know computers and shortcuts are already married to basically every form of animation at this point (AI is already used for some inbetweening) but this has the potential to go a significant step beyond that.

AI art sucks and creatives pushing for it to be used in anime production sucks. Work by humans who have honed their talent over the years will be superior for a very very long time, the video itself proves it when you look at the work revised by hand being miles better. Won't be getting a very nuanced response from me unfortunately.
