When making webms and mp4s please keep in mind the following aspect ratios.

=For 16:9 video=
If BD/HDTV: then make 854x480 or 712x400
If DVD/SDTV: then make 712x400 or 640x360

=For 4:3 video=
If BD/HDTV: then make 640x480
If DVD/SDTV: 533x400 or 480x360 (You can make 640x480 if it looks good enough)

SDTV - 'Standard Definition' So something that is not a HD source etc..
