The art is godly.

It's interesting how Takahashi is inspired by Shida only animation-wise.
His artwork looks on-model, but is simply fantastic. Maybe Yamamuro corrected these bits, but his contribution is just stellar by all means.

changing direction is usually fair but the positioning of where the next cut starts is quite bad imo.

not to mention that 2nd rotation feels totally unecessary. even more, it's ruining the whole thing for me. because it looks like goku is just intentionally floating in that awkward position for like, forever and spinning around jiren... it only makes sense to me if it felt like super slow motion but normal speed camera doing the rotation rather than the characters but that doesn't appear to be what it is

I don't doubt he has, he's got to make a living, it's just nice to see him doing something notable again, on super of all places.

Hey I agree. freelancers like him have nothing else but my respect. Jumping to one project to the next and STILL an amazing animator? Geez.

This scene is so amazing! Takahashi is great and should work on more episodes in the future
