You'd think working under Yama'uchi Shigeyasu like he did here would have given Yamamuro better insight into creating exciting battle scenes.

Apparently it didn't.
I don't think Yamamuro actually remembers working on Z. Considering he said he doesn't actually watch any modern anime, it's not surprising how his work looks nowadays. Big ol' blob of meh.

Oh well. At least we have this stuff to look back on. I do kinda wish it was a little faster in places, though.

More like his only great scene. I can't remember anything else from the Shindou Pro episodes that were any good.

I don't know who did it and it's not on this site but in this episode Gohan fires a yellow kamehameha at Buu's ball. That looks pretty good if I recall as well as his power up.
