Still a badass scene, Imai's best work in my opinion.

Seeing this just makes me excited to see what Imai will pull out in Attack on Titan if and when the second season ever sees the light of day.

Rarely have I seen an anime cut go mainly on 1s. Holy crap.

This 24fps animation is actually beautiful

This is so lit, lowkey my favourite work from Imai. The posture, timing, staging, path of action and balance help in visual representation of opposing forces. The weight of Kurama, stone golem, fire pheasant and upward acceleration of elemental dog like creature is created well.

Full Animation makes movement feel very smooth even in parts that are in slow motion
For me his work in One Punch Man and in this movie are the best he has done
