How does more than 1 animator work on the same cut?
Animation is often done in layers, like in Photoshop. One person on the character, one person on effects, etc.

not really, you can see in the genga where it switches pretty clearly https://www.sakugabooru.com/post/show/13542
Talking about a single shot, not whole posts. I see what you mean about the liberty bot in the 4th shot tho
isn't that like disney or something? every post I've seen here the animator does everything in his cut by himself, the characters, the effects, everything

this scene is an exception, the vast majority of the time in Japanese animation the animator is responsible for all the key frames in their assigned cuts.

do you know what did each animator do in the 4th cut? :)
I don't think they did it a la disney.
When you have two animators on one cut, most of the time it means one did (rough) LO and the other one the genga/secondary genga.
Pretty sure it's the case on this post since it's Yutapon and he's known for doing rough LOs depending on the schedule.

I'm certain it starts with Nakamura, the cape is a dead give away, then its either/both Kubota/Oshiyama? then probably Kugai for the really loose liquid at the end?

Like bloo said Nakamura probably did the really rough L/O for the whole scene, just some of it was finished by the others
